42nd Street (Theatre Royal Drury Lane)

This spectacular performance starring lovable characters, glamorous setting and domineering characters really makes 42nd street on of the best shows in the west end. It has the showbiz and emotion wrapped into one and has amazingly effortless choreography. Now personally I’m not a fan of tap dancing but I was mesmerised by the dances in the show. I couldn’t keep my eyes off the dancers, so talented.

The story itself is about a dancer wanting to make it big on the showbiz industry, she is an amazing dancer, however her lack of self- confidence allows this story to play out. Peggy Sawyer arrives in New York with only her tap shoes a small suitcase and her dream of becoming a dancer. It is a great and emotional story, being a feel good show for any age!
